OBJECTIVES |
|
The central topic of this program is dynamo theory.
Lectures will however not be restricted exclusively to the dynamo problem.
Instead, a strong emphasis will be placed on connected subjects,
such as passive scalar advection, advection of a vector, of vorticity,
effect of multiplicative noise on instabilities, dynamical systems
(relaxation cycles, heteroclinic orbits, etc), wave turbulence (in
particular applied to Alfven waves), etc.
