Practical information:

The conference will be held in Universitat Politènica de Catalunya. Accomodations have been pre-resevred on campus or near campus. Priority is handled on a "first come, first served" basis. Please check the proposed accomodations and contact them directly by mentionning "GDR Dynamo" to have access to the pre-reserved rooms.

Lectures and poster sessions will be held on 27, 28, 29, 30 and the morning of the 1st of July. Lunches will be provided on campus.

Outing on wednesday:

The meeting point on wednesday afternoon for the visit of LA PEDRERA is either at 3:15 at the Metro station "MARIA CRISTINA" or at 3:45 directly in fron to LA PADRERA.

Registration:

Registration will close on May 10th, but we advise participants to register before this if possible.
A registration fee of 180 euros (including lunches, coffee breaks, as well as the conference dinner).
A limited number of grants is available for PhD students.
Please note that the GDR in its "extended international form" is in renewal phase with CNRS and is likely to be funded only starting in 2017, thus the need for registration fees this year.

Participants whom will come with an accompanying person that wish to attend the conference dinner should pay an extra 50 euros.

Accomodations:

We offer a list of pre-reserved accomodations.

If you prefere to go for other accomodations, Barcelona offers a wide variety of hotels. There are in particular several hotels at walking distance of the conference room, which offer reduced rate to the Universitat Politènica de Catalunya.

There is also a limited number of apartments available.

A wide variety of prices is listed, but bare in mind that Barcelona is a very popular destination at this period of the year, so the earlier you reserve, the better (the same applies to flights)!

Flights:

The conference will start on monday morning, so we advise participants to arrive in Barcelona on sunday the 26. It will finish mid-day on the 1st of July, so you can fligh back during the afternoon.

The airport (El Prat Airport) is quite close to the city.

There is a metro line (line 9) directly from the airport to the University zone ("zona Universitària").

There is also a bus from the airport to the city called "Aerobus" (the cost is less than 6 euros). You can take take it to Place de España. Form there you can take the subway, line 3, to the University.

Taking a taxi is another option (expect to pay around 40 euros).
