The Venue
The workshop will be held at the Institut d'Etudes Scientifiques de Cargèse
(I.E.S.C). The Institute is located near the village of Cargèse,
a little village on the west coast of Corsica, 75 km north of Ajaccio. The
I.E.S.C. provides a relaxing and enjoyable environment that optimizes

RegistrationThe registration fee includes housing (in a shared room) and lunches (but not dinners). Housing is either in Cargese or at the institute. Travel and dinners costs must be carried by participants. Housing will be provided for six nights (from sunday to saturday). Extension is unfortunately not possible.The number of participants being limited in Cargèse, participants have to go through an “application” procedure. The deadline for application is the 20th of April. It is necessary to go through this application procedure before registration. Priority will be given to invited participants, and then “first come - first served” will be used as a general rule. The registration fee can be paid online once the registration is complete. The "early bird" rate (valid until 30/04/2013) is GBP 350. After this date, the registration fee will be GBP 400. The deadline for registration is 15/06/2013. Getting to CargèseAjaccio is the nearest airport to Cargèse and is connected by several daily flights to Paris and other European cities. Please visit the Ajaccio airport website for a list of airlines serving the area. For other means of traveling to Cargèse visit the town's webpage.There will be a bus arranged for the Workshop taking participants from the Ajaccio airport to Cargese. The bus will leave the airport at 6:00PM on sunday the 21th, after the arrival of the Air France flight AF4502 from Paris (the bus will wait for this flight), please try to schedule your flights accordingly. The bus trip lasts one hour. There will be a bus back from Cargese to Ajaccio airport at the end of the Workshop on saturday the 27th leaving Cargèse at 8:30AM (arriving at the airport at approximately 9:30AM). Alternatively Cargèse can be reached by public bus and by taxi. The bus station, which is also the maritime station, can be reached via shuttle from Ajaccio airport. The Ajaccio airport webpage also provides information on local bus timetables. Taxi service from the airport to Cargèse costs approximately 100 euros for normal transfer and 130 euros for early, late and non working day transfer and takes less than one hour. To ensure this price, one needs to reserve the taxi in advance through the organisers.
